Comments about Osprey Porter 90 Travel Pack:
The backpack strappings are too thin and uncomfortable for heavy loads. Overall bag is too flexy, I hold up the bag's handle (it's on one side of the bag) and it started to stretch. I would prefer a real backpack such as Arcteryx Bora backpack since it's the real thing with lots of support and easy access on the side of this big backpack. The strapping of Bora is ultracomfortable and does not strain my shoulders under heavy loads. Should have bought this one before heading out. The Osprey Porter is a total pain to carry no matter the liter size. Other Osprey with wheels on it are still a pain because it wasn't designed around a human's back! I guess lack of R&D on designing a perfect travel-backpack. Then again, all the travel-backpack from any company are still the worst. Osprey, redesign it please using R&D!!!

Comments about Osprey Porter 90 Travel Pack:
I cannot disagree with the prior two reviewers more. This is the best travel luggage I have ever owned and I do a lot of extended travel by airplane, bus, train and ferry. I would suggest that if you consider this item to be a backpack, it is not, although when packed properly, it does ride reasonably well. But I would not take it on a backpacking trip. On the other hand, it is an extraordinary piece of luggage that is very easy to transport on the road. I had one compression strap that ripped out, but Osprey fixed it for me. Otherwise, it is wearing very well and is years old.

Comments about Osprey Porter 90 Travel Pack:
I just covered 7 countries in central america with this pack, and i wish i didn't. Its terrible. The hip and shoulder strappings are too thin and weak. The bag is quite large, and will tolerate a heavy load. But, with these strapping, you'll have to carry the bag with your hands, not on your back. Save your money...
