Comments about JanSport Air Vital Pack:

I purchased this pack to use as a day pack on an international trip. I required durability, comfort, roominess and practicality. I like to have room for my guidebooks, maps, a jacket, water, souveniers, lunch, etc. I got all the above for only [$]. I particularly liked the "papa bear, mama bear, baby bear" pockets - very well laid out, along with the water bottle side pockets. The only downside was that when I didn't need all the space, the bag felt over-sized and therefore awkward. I would definately recommend this as a traveler's day pack. The final test will be whether it can stand washing (by hand, per the instructions, so I guess this means a soak in Woolite or the like) since we traveled in a very hot, humid climate that left the pack sweat-soaked every day, but this guy is tough so I am very optimistic.
