Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
My primary problem with this pack is the description. I know that I should have been able to figure out what would fit by looking at the dimensions, but I didn't. I was barely able to fit a spare 26" mountain tube. I like a small pack, but I figure it should contain a tube, tire lever, patch kit and if you have room, a multi-tool. I don't feel that this is large enough for "a day of cycling in wine country or trekking through the Headlands".
The best use for this would be possibly a road bike as I was able to fit a road tube. Otherwise, anywhere that you can do with just your keys, a few bills and an ID. (A wallet will not fit)
Anyway, 3 stars because I like it and if it was proportionately a bit larger it would be very nice. Also it's at least partly my own fault :\

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
Used this saddle bag on a 29er. Able to fit a 26in tube, multi-tool, CO2 nozzle and a small 10mm wrench. Biggest issue with this saddle bag is the side velcro straps would come undone over rough terrain, the material at the top of the bag separated from the zipper, and the thin strap on the zipper wore out. I used the bag for 1.5 seasons.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
I like this bag; however, I was disappointed when the pull strap came off in my hand. I was able to put it back on with some effort. This strap is a weak design unexpected from Timbuk2. The bag mounts easily and holds position well. I am able to cram in a multi-tool, a CO2 cartridge, two tire irons, a patch kit, a master link, and my keys through judicious juggling. It is a bit small for longer treks, but is perfect for training rides as long as you don't need or want to carry a spare tube.
