The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Comments about Cat Eye Wireless CC-MC100W Bike Computer:

This computer attaches to your handlebar and to your fork using cheap plastic ties. That means you have one opportunity to attach and get to the right tightness. Remember, plastic ties are one-time use. Plus, it looks awfully cheap. Previous Cateye computers used small screws, which allowed you to take the computer off and on.

Also, beware that the sensor on the handlebar is rather large. I had to rotate the sensor every time, when I rotated the fork to get the bike in my trunk. Then, I have to rotate it back, finding the proper location once again.

I found that the computer would mysteriously stop working, not recording my speed accurately. Comparing the recorded time in an uphill segment to my watch, I noticed that it lost 15 seconds of time, not recorded.

For me, the plastic ties stretched, and the mount fell off during a ride. Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe Cateye switch from an attachment mechanism that worked to something so cheap as plastic ties, that do not work. They are saving what, 5 cents? And this is on a high-priced computer.

I really regret buying this. It just isn't practical, and doesn't work for me. Now, I have to buy another one.

I have had several different bike computers and I always return to this one. It doesn't have alot of flash and glimmer, but man, is it easy to use. It has all the features I want and nothing I don't.

Comments about Cat Eye Wireless CC-MC100W Bike Computer:

I have three of these computers. One on each of my mountain bikes, and one on my road bike. Set up is easy, and they have worked perfectly for the last year and a half since I bought them. My only complaint might be that sometimes the screen is hard to read from certain angles, but I dont think any worse than most other computers. I definitely recommend.

Works great in the outdoors, you can get some interferrence from power lines and large metal objects. Wireless! So it's easy to install. I prefer my Astrale for road biking though, since it has cadence and it's fully wired so there's no interferrence from urban EM fields.

Comments about Cat Eye Wireless CC-MC100W Bike Computer:

I like the computer for its basic functions. I did not like that I had to reset everything so it would read in miles and not km, and the functions were fairly difficult to make use without stopping. I was looking for a little more than what this computer did, so I upgraded to another type of setup, but this is a good basic computer for general use.

I use this computer every time I ride. I love mountain biking and the computer helps push me to go farther and faster. The wireless mount is very easy to set up and accurate, plus no extra cords hanging around your fork.

Comments about Cat Eye Wireless CC-MC100W Bike Computer:

It works OK most of the time. But when trail gets rocky...imagine riding in moab, the sensor sometimes will move out of working range...and always gives me a shorter distance than my buddy's computer. Well, he paid more than twice the price tag for his. I think I can live with the ballpark figure. Plus, the distance goes back to zero whenever I remove the front wheel...don't know if I'm doing something wrong...or this is some sort of annoying "automatic feature".
