Comments about Planet Bike Hardcore Freddy Fenders - 35mm:
These are way better than the no-name brand that I originally put on my commuter bike. They don't rattle like the cheap ones did, and they really work well and mount solidly.
I put these on my Trek 1200c with 700x23 tires.

Comments about Planet Bike Hardcore Freddy Fenders - 35mm:
I was skeptical when purchasing since I thought the price was too low for a good quality product. Installation was easy but I had to drill a hole since my bike was designed slightly different then the fender design (no biggie).
These fenders do the job and do it quietly (I was worried they would rattle). I commute daily and ride distanes on weekends.
Service and delivery comments:
I hadn't done bussiness with REI since 1973 and am glad I restarted. My items were delivered when promised.
I was surprised that when I went to the store to pick them up, there were several others of the same item in stock. REI could have save a few bucks by telling me they were already in stock and not shipped another into the store.
Also, they found my 40 year old membership number to verify that I am still a member. I had to remember the addrss of the house I was raised in to help me verify that yes, that was me. This brought back great memories.

Comments about Planet Bike Hardcore Freddy Fenders - 35mm:
These fenders started out just great- lightweight, low-profile, were working great on my commuter bike. One day while riding to work, the rubber "mud flap" on the fender got caught up by my front tire and folded up under itself - causing my front tire to stop immediately and me to go over the handlebars.
If you buy these fenders, make sure you have ample clearance between fender and tire. Better yet, just remove the rubber flap from the fender.
