31 I finily decided to buy a nice pare of sunglass when I put on the Native eyewear Blue Reflex XP.However I did not have to buy them.My girlfriend,at the time, said they looked so good on me that shed pay for them herself. What do you know,A great pare of sunglass;no money out of my pocket.Although it was the middle of november lastyear and I didn't get a christmas present,Hmm.
I love the glasses.I tolled her(my Girlfriend)that I wear them all the time, even when I work.Im a contractor who does his own carpentry.
She said "no the lense will scratch easly."
For the price I hoped not but they did.
I droped them once, picked them up and they were scratched. The scratch grew over the next week every time I cleaned them.I was so disapointed, however she(my girlfriend) said I looked good in them and other girls were saying the same.Plus I love these glasses, they feel so good on my face and work perfectly for what there for.
So I bought another pair of lenses despite the warrenty.I could not be without my glasses.
Got the new lenses same thing happened.Being so disapointed I got in touch with the company.
They said others had complained and they were working on new reflex lenses. They would send me a set once they were devoloped. They also sent me their other two sets of polerized lenses that do not scratch(black and bronze)in hopes I would stay true to the company untill they could get me the new Blue reflex that did not scratch.
I have been wearing the black lenses and love them however today Nov/20 I recived my new Blue Reflex Lenses...That do not scratch,I know...I tested.
I am now married to what was my girlfriend at the time, despite all the other girls.Maybe it is becouse she bought these sunglass for me a year ago today...And I looked good.
I am amazed with Native Eyewear. If your not wearing Native Eyewear...You can lose them.

Best glasses, have had Ray bans, Oakley. These are the only glasses I use. They fit well underneath the helmet for motorcycling. The glasses are indestructible and the changeable lenses are great!

Where to start? I love these glasses. I have had them for about 3 years and wear them pretty much every day and in every situation - working, rafting, relaxing at the lake, watching baseball games, boating, offroading, running, everywhere. I used to break them a lot (went through 3 pairs). They always broke right where the ear pieces attach to the main frame - gotta love the no-questions $30 replacement though. However, since Native replaced the plastic tabs that held the ear pieces on with a metal pin in 2006, I have never broken them again.
All three of my pairs have been black with black lenses and I recently bought a pair of the Reflex blue lenses and already love them - they significantly reduce glare - the extra $15 for the reflex lenses is definitely worth it.
The "Gator-Lok" ear piece is great while rafting, kayaking, boating or while in any other situation where you might have to worry about losing your glasses. The normal ear pieces are comfortable enough for every day duty and accept my favorite pair of Croakies nicely.
Given the price range of Natives, I would compare them to Costa del Mar glasses or Oakleys and I say the Natives win hands down. Costas feel cheap to me - especially given what they cost - and they don't feel "right". The Oakleys I've had always started to hurt my head after wearing them a while and the metal framed ones were extremely delicate, plus you have to pay extra to get polarized lenses. The Natives are sturdy, well made, comfortable, and just plain fit.
To sum it up, if you are in the market for a set of $100+ glasses that will work in any situation: buy some Natives. You will not regret it.

Extremely awesome glasses. I bought one pair and the coating on the lenses came back, so exchanged them for a new pair [...]. I'm completely satisfied, however the coating on the lenses of my 2nd pair has since begun to peel off too. My fiance has the same glasses and has experienced the same problem with the coating. It does not obstruct vision or view, however it does look awfully strange if you're an onlooker and there is light shining onto the lenses-it makes them appear scratched or dirty. If you don't care about the cosmetic look of the glasses, this is not a problem as they still work great and are totally functional.

Very Light and comfortable and they stay in place even when moving about vigorously or with wind blowing by at freeway speeds. The interchangable lenses are a perfect solution for us motorcycle touring riders who, like backpackers, have to minimize what we carry. I have a small windshield bag that holds the spare lenses which are easy to change when lighting changes. The only complaint is the durability of the coating on the dark lenses. We just completed a 4000 mile ride and about halfway through the coating started to show a pattern that I think was a coating layer coming off. Fortunately the glasses were still useable since eyeware is required by law in most states and I didn't have a spare set. [...] Even with the coating problems I would recommend these glasses to anyone who needs multiple lenses but can't afford the space penalty of multiple sets of glasses. [...]

These are the most comfortable and light sunglasses I've ever bought. They fit well and the lenses are crystal clear without any distortion. Everything about these glasses are high performance. I haven't had them for long so I can't comment on the coatings on the lens but even they are under warranty for [$]

I concur with everyone's reviews with the addition of these specs are tough as nails. It was 100 degrees in Atlanta and nothing to do except take my 8 year old to the roller rink. I forgot I was still wearing the glasses when I got in and just hooked in my t shirt collar. I almost fell on my face when I rolled over something on the floor, looked for what it was and I'd rolled over my dropped specs, even popping the lenses out. NOT A SCRATCH ANYWHERE! And they went back together just fine. Unbelievable.

I have worn alot of different pairs of sunglasses. I have seached and searched for something that would suit my needs of flying, watersports, snowsports, anything outdoors, for working, and to be used as saftyglasses but yet to be sylish. After having these for about half a year now. Native sunglasses are the ONLY company I will choose. Wish there were dealers in Canada. these are the only everyday sunglasses I have worn wakeboarding. personally I like them better then goggles.
