Carry this compact Adventure Medical Kits Ultralight .3 first-aid kit on 1- to 2-day solo trips when you require just the essentials.

  • Great for adventure racing, backpacking, hiking, climbing, paddling and cycling
  • Includes eight 2 x 2 in. sterile dressings, 2 butterfly closure bandages, five 1 x 3 in. adhesive bandages, 3 knuckle adhesive bandages and a 0.5 in. x 10 yard roll of tape
  • Medications include: 4 ibuprofen (200mg), 2 antihistamines and 2 After Bite® Sting Relief wipes
  • Wound management includes: 3 After Cuts and Scrapes® towelettes and 2 triple antibiotic ointments
  • Plus: 11 precut and shaped moleskin pieces for blister treatment and 2 safety pins

      I carry this kit with me on my solo hikes (I'll carry a little more with a group). It does a nice job of packaging all the basics for a solo day hike . I added a set of tweezers to the stock kit, but otherwise felt the kit contained the right blend of items for the job. The contents themselves aren't anything special, but the kit combines them nicely in a small watertight package.

        This is a very well put together first aid kit, one of the best I have seen. I usually have to swap out a lot of things when I get a kit, this one was nearly complete!

        With this kit I added Extra Pain Relievers, pepto tablets, needle and thread for sutures, and a small swiss army knife with tweezers and scissors.

        I recommend this kit to everyone, has what you need not a lot of what you don't.

          For taking care of the minor injuries I get on the trail, this tiny first aid kit works beautifully. Not too bulky, and not too heavy, the only thing I add in is a small cloth ankle brace and I am good to go.
