Comments about OnGuard Bulldog DT Combo U-Lock with Cable:
I have used this daily for more than a year and a half as I commute in Boston. The "U" is big enough that it fits around a variety of things I lock my bike to. The cable is nice to have when I take my nicer road bike on the town for extra security. It is a bit heavy, but that is my only complaint. I am impressed by its durability.

Comments about OnGuard Bulldog DT Combo U-Lock with Cable:
I use it when I commute with my hybird bike. I like that it is durable and I feel my bike is secure. What I don't like is having to carry it in a back pack for transportation, since it is too big to attach to my bike.

Comments about OnGuard Bulldog DT Combo U-Lock with Cable:
I have had my lock for 3 years. I have had to reassemble the cyclinder when I dropped it pretty far while locking it up in a stairway... just do not lose the small springs (2). The cable can be cut, but the darn lock just can not be beat!!! Lock the frame with the lock and use cable for wheels/tires or seat. I work near DT Los Angeles and use 2 so I do not lose my wheels, in The OC I just use one. BUY THE LARGEST ONE!!!

Comments about OnGuard Bulldog DT Combo U-Lock with Cable:
I haven't used it yet because I am going to return it. Why? Well it's just too heavy. I live in the suburbs and don't really do any urban riding where I would need to lock it up in a sketchy area. That being said, if I did, this lock would remain mine no question. I gave it 4 stars, because it's an awesome lock, just a bit too much for my needs (I really hope I don't regret saying that)

Comments about OnGuard Bulldog DT Combo U-Lock with Cable:
It's a good lock for the money. I use it to lock up my family's bikes in our public garage, so it's not being testing on the streets of Manhattan, but I'm pretty confident it will stop all but the most determined thieves. I'm a big fan of the key lock, which is very easy to use, and the company provides 5 or 6 keys, so there are plenty to go around, even if you tend to lose them, like I do. There's not a great way to store the thing on your bike, but I don't know of many U-locks that are easy to store, so I don't see it as a major downside to this lock over other U-locks.

Comments about OnGuard Bulldog DT Combo U-Lock with Cable:
So i rarely use this lock maybe 5 times. well on the 6th time i used it the key became stuck, i could engage and disengage the U component but the key was stuck in the lock. I was annoyed, i had bike 5 miles to a store only to find myself not being able to go in because the stupid lock stopped working. And another thing, this lock is HEAVY, i would recommend getting another kind just for the weight issue alone. So yes first it was the weight but add to that the key getting stuck on the 6th use this product gets a fail.
