This bottle is great for racing. I have a hip pack that came with the bottle, and it is a charm for keeping me hydrated. The soft "Kicker" valve is ingenious! Soft so your front teeth won't hurt in case you have sensitive teeth, and easy to close. Simply tip the valve to one side, and the valve closes up automatically. Highly recommended

Bottle does not leak if you put the cap properly. I have 15 of them never had a problem. Oldest one is probably 5 years old. Impact resistant soft plastic.
Very fast on the run. Takes less than 2 seconds to pull it out of your pack, squeeze and drink 4 ounces, close it and put it back. Once you get used to it of course.
The valve system is the best. Even if you don't close it, won't leak with normal use.

This is the worst design for a water bottle nipple and lid. The lid leaks and drinking from the nozzle is overly difficult. The nipple doesn't leak, but lt requires way too much concentration. You have to bite, suck, and squeeze. It's a pain. Buy a Camelbak bottle and save yourself A LOT of hassle.
