Comments about Adventure Medical Ultralight .9 First Aid Kit:

I researched lots of kits before settling on this one and I made a good choice. It really has everything and the only thing I've added to it are some band-aids and some extra wide tape. The ziplock bags are super tough and haven't worn out after a couple of years. This is great for 2 or 3 person adventures.

Comments about Adventure Medical Ultralight .9 First Aid Kit:

This first aid kit has all the basic necessities you need, and fits nicely in the case. However, it is advertised as being "watertight", which is definitely not the same as "waterproof". I guide whitewater river trips, and after taking this kit on the river only a handul of times, all of the contents became wet. I made sure to ziplock the bags tightly, but much to my dismay, water still got in. Granted, the kit sat in a puddle of water in the bottom of my dry bag, but with the way this kit is advertised, I would have expected the contents to remain dry. In the end, I only got one use out of the kit before it became wet, and thus contaminated. I learned my lesson: A pelican case is essential.

Comments about Adventure Medical Ultralight .9 First Aid Kit:

This is a very complete first aid kit and doesn't take up much space. The plastic bags keep everything dry when sealed, although it can be difficult getting them closed properly.

There was just enough room to add a few survival items to round out the kit.

All inclusive kit; small and ready to go. I didn't give it 5 stars only because one of the bags tore below the "ziplock" seam.

Comments about Adventure Medical Ultralight .9 First Aid Kit:

I was very impressed by this first aid kit. It is extremely light and is very complete. Of course with wall kits you should go through it and see if there are any personal items that you want to add but I could not think of anything but I am sure I will a some point!

The bags are nice but I have a problem closing them up which is why I did not give this five stars.

              Pros: Lightweight, compact, complete

              Cons: Bags

I plan on buying several more to put in the car and around the house. I also will be looking at the other kits that are sold by this brand.

Comments about Adventure Medical Ultralight .9 First Aid Kit:

Like a doctor's little black bag... only it's yellow. Contains a wide variety of items in a lightweight, waterproof package. Great to have along if you need it, easy to store when you don't. I added a few favorite items in there for myself. It does seem as though I would have a tough time getting all that stuff back into the bag if I ever had to take anything out.

Comments about Adventure Medical Ultralight .9 First Aid Kit:

Actually had to use this kit on a nasty cut to someone's head. I couldn't find what I needed quickly and ended up just throwing all the contents out to get to what I needed. I had been flagged down while driving past, so it probably didn't inspire confidence. I can't imagine trying to find things while in a kayak or in the dark. I've since bought another kit with better organization.
