        This kit contains everything you could ever need to field strip and repair your MSR Whisperlite stove. Unless your pump has a total meltdown all the spare gaskets, wicks, and spring are in this one tiny kit. I always have this in my pack for field repairs. The only thing I would change about this kit is to have it include a couple of smaller lubricating oil tubes instead of just the one tube. That way there is less chance of oil escaping into your pack.

          I use it at home for routine maintenance. Then just pack this with your stove & forget about it until you need it. I take for granted my Whisperlight will always work, because it always has for over 10 years. But one does hear stories from the field... A spare pump isn't a bad idea either.
