I have a Pocket Rocket that I use for short trips and before buying the MSR canister stand I scalded myself twice tipping over the top-heavy stove+pot filled with boiling water. I was about to give up on the PR when I found this in an REI store. Works fine, esp. when you have to dig a little to level your stove - you can't do that very effectively with the canister alone. BTW, the plastic model for the other brand stove will not fit MSR-size canisters. Attempts to force a plastic stand to fit an MSR canister will break the stand.

Exactly what I was looking for. I had been eyeing the Jet Boil stabilizer kit, but this one seems much more solid (metal vs. plastic). With just one use to date I already know it fits the bill for what I needed. Could be a bit smaller and/or titanium for weight. Other than those very minor comments, this is perfect.
