Comments about Kelty Grommet Pack:
This pack has been a great little starter pack for my son! He uses it all the time, and it has survived some big-time beatings in the backcountry.
The pack fits a kids' sleeping bag well, along with a water bottle on one side and accessories on the other (the water bottle holder is nice). Good padding and it fits ages 3-6 well, although my 6-year old son is beginning to outgrow it. If you want a good basic pack, grab this one at a good price!

Comments about Kelty Grommet Pack:
Great for our Kindergartener and 2nd grader. One has a small hole in the bottom after a year of first grade. Bottom could be a bit more durable. Otherwise great little bag for the price. Certainly nicer than the ugly princess or super hero packs that look like garbage in short order. These machine wash no problem. These will hold a normal sized folder or textbook. Not sure about the minnow (which lacks a bottle holder).
We also used these for day hikes until buying camelbaks for the kids.

Comments about Kelty Grommet Pack:
I use this pack for 5-6 mile day hikes. Though a "kids" pack I have found it to be lightweight and fit quite comfortably. The two side pockets will hold water bottles securely. The interior has 2 pockets where I keep some small first aid supplies and rain gear. Perfect for casual use and a great price!
