The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Native Eyewear Silencer Sunglasses - Polarized:
Used while deployed in Djibouti, Africa. With temps ranging in the 130's you could imagine the glare. So sunglasses are a must. These are some of the worst conditions, and the sunglasses held up great best piece of gear I had!! Showed it to the other guys and they ordered them as well. I should make a commision!
-Polarized lens (a must)
-Great peripheral vision (a must)
-rubber ends on the arms came off after long hours of wear and... lots of sweat... just used some superglue and fixed it in a snap.
-Didnt think I would use other lenses that came with it but yellow were good for the range as well.
Well me and the rest of the guys all highly recommend these sunglasses!!

Comments about Native Eyewear Silencer Sunglasses - Polarized:
The most comfortable fitting glasses I've ever owned. After a short time of use, the lenses were severely scratched in the factory soft case. I bought replacement lenses and it quickly happened again. I've owned a handful of quality sunglasses in my life, and I've always treated them with respect. I've never been so dissapointed. I literally threw the frames in the trash to ensure that I wouldn't be enticed to replace the lenses again...the lenses are absolute trash.

These were the best sports glasses I've ever owned...right up until the point when I lost them today coming down from Mt. Defiance in the Columbia River Gorge (they're somewhere on the Starvation Ridge Trail - if you find them, well, you're welcome: I'm buying a new pair tomorrow).
I withheld that fifth star because the Blue Reflex lenses I special ordered for a trip to the Everest region, seemed to scratch pretty easily. But, in all fairness, that could have been user error. I was a little hypoxic at the time. It's all a bit fuzzy...

Although stylish, BEWARE. Problems with lens retention plagued my ownership of these glasses.Although I NEVER attempted to swap lenses, lens repeatedly fell out during normal use, and without contributing event.
Native refused to cover replacements under warranty, despite customer service representative admission that frames were in fact faulty, and they were aware of the problem.

Comments about Native Eyewear Silencer Sunglasses - Polarized:
I regret buying these expensive, flimsey glasses.
I have broken 3 pairs wearing under helmet (no falls). The Native lifetime warranty is a fallacy- they charge a fee that is far in excess of the manufacturing cost and the replacements they sent were seconds (paint smeared and frame twisted) Native would not respond to complaints.
Regrettably, I did not buy from REI, otherwise, I would have returned them to REI.

Comments about Native Eyewear Silencer Sunglasses - Polarized:
I chose the model with black frames with the blue polarized lenses. I'm using them mainly for driving and also for softball, cycling, and hiking. I bought these because they are more fashionable than your typical sunglasses with interchangeable lenses. I also liked the warranty. Unfortunately they have not met my expectations.
The first problem is they fog up all the time. Especially if I am sweaty. I have lots of problems while driving when the weather is cool. Usually warming them up helps, but sometimes it doesn't.
I'm very surprised to see others describe these as durable. That has not been my experience. Not even close. Mine have lost one nose piece and one of the rubber bridge pieces. A bit of super glue will reattach them, but it is still a hassle. Also I'm on my third pair of lenses. They scratch way too easily. In one case I had them in my bag for not even 10 minutes and they were so badly scratched that you could not see through them. Definitely store them in the case at all times when not in use.

I love these sunglasses. I usually scratch lenses quickly, but a year later and not a mark! The lenses are easy to change and come in handy for different lighting conditions.

Hmm. I was hoping for a more flexible frame, at least behind the ears. These glasses are very lightweight and overall, comfortable. My head is on the large side (not huge but med-large) and these glasses are unbearably small on me. I'll be sending them back but really liked them, so I'll keep looking. Worth a try though.

Comments about Native Eyewear Silencer Sunglasses - Polarized:
I really like these glasses. I have had no problems with fogging, and they fit very well. However, there is always a however, I too have had problems with scratching. Mine were scratched, and I have no idea how. [...] I have had Raybands for years and never had scratching problems, even wearing them while deployed in Iraq. I guess the Native are just good for driving around in the car and looking good. I would NOT recomend them in the field.
