Leave those old bulky slings at home! Mammut's revolutionary weaving method shaves weight and bulk off your climbing rack.

    • This sling has a radically narrow 8-mm width and a super-low-profile connection in place of a knot
    • Computer-guided looms weave the last three inches of the webbing 4mm wider, allowing the 8mm end to be inserted and bartacked in place
    • A Mammut label is sewn over the conjoined ends for smooth running and snag-free pulls
    • Comes in 24- and 48-inch lengths

    Imported.

Comments about Mammut Dyneema Contact Sling:

i bought six of these for my fourth set of extendable draws (after 12mm and 10mm BD Dynex sets). i love their size, light weight, smooth feel, and easy feeding (surprisingly important, the sewn-in end is super convenient when pulling through carabiners)... but i was bummed to see one of them wear almost halfway through on a relatively moderate lead fall that dragged the sling over some rough rock (JTree). with my older slings i've had many falls in similar conditions resulting in minimal wear, so i was a little surprised to see half the sling's Dyneema (white) fibers torn. i plan to keep using the others, and overall i really like these things; it's not a big deal to buy another to replace the cut one. as with all gear, wear and tear is to be expected, but you may want to consider their longevity if you expect a long life of heavy abuse... or if you can't afford to replace them as needed...

Comments about Mammut Dyneema Contact Sling:

These are really good if you want to shave some weight off your rack. great for equalizing anchors and slinging protection. They don't last as long as thicker slings, slinging huecos and chicken heads really destroys them.

Comments about Mammut Dyneema Contact Sling:

great product! one of my favorite runners on the market. light, strong, and the perfect lengths. Always seem to get the job done very well. Drawbacks: skinny and therefore less durable and more prone to cutting than the standard nylon runners so watch how you use them. thats what you sacrifice for the lightweight i guess. still a fantastic product.

Comments about Mammut Dyneema Contact Sling:

I have to admit I was a little nervous using these at first because they just don't look like they could be that strong. I took a pretty good fall on one and am still here, so I guess that speaks for itself.

Comments about Mammut Dyneema Contact Sling:

These slings are the best around. Their low profile make them perfect for racking, they lie flat and are a lot less bulky than standard nylon runners. They're definitely worth the price!
