Comments about Nikon Action 10 x 50 Binoculars:

I bought the binoculars with the intention of mounting them on a tripod, looking at the night sky, bringing to the gun range, wildlife viewing without heavy hiking, etc. So the fact that they are large and slightly heavy is not at all an issue considering what I intend to use them for.
The first thing I did when I opened them out of the box was look at Jupiter and I was amazed at how clearly I could see four of the moons. Once I got it mounted on the tripod I was even more amazed. The night sky is out of this world with these binoculars. I didn't buy the tripod adapter, I strapped a regular camera adapter to the bottom of ithem with some rubber bands and it works like a charm.
I can't wait to take them to Colorado with me in a few months.
