Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I have spent over 120 days out so far in the 09 season all over the country no shoe holds up better for me than the flashes. With a slightly pointed toe and the firm sole this shoe offers you the ability to put full body weight on the the smallest crystals pebbles and dime sized edges as well as being one of the best smearing shoes on the market. Since the shoe is made without a lining they are highly sensitive and let you feel whats going on, knowing just how well your on any given hold will increase confidence, make you go bigger and send harder.

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I wear a La Sportiva Solution 43.5 for 5 months and it it's definetly my size, in the beginning it was VERY tight but now it's just tight. I wear streetshoes 11 or 11.5 and I bought Mad Rock 10.5. Its VERY small, my foot can't get into the shoes, my heels stay outside. I believe my Mad Rock number would be 11.5. Good luck!

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I use these mainly for bouldering and have never had a problem. I can feel like my feet are in good hands!
This is my second pair and the only complaint is that the old pair had metal strap loops and the new ones have plastic. This doesn't effect the quality of the shoe as for as I can tell but I like the metal look better....oh and what is up with pumpkin?
Love these shoes for the price. Buy them!

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I use the Mad Rock Flashs for indoor bouldering and indoor sport and top roping for the most part. These shoues have great feel and precision and they're very sturdy. The one problem i have is these shoes kill my feet, specifically my heels, for the firsdt hour of climbimng. I've tried to stretch them but that doesn't work. I'd recommend them to most people unless you have an unusual foot shape or sensitive heels

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I started climbing about 3 months ago ( i bought the shoes a month ago)and now i am climbing 5/6s and 5.12s. So the shoe has held up to the beating of everyday climbing. from indoor to bouldering to long climbs. The only issue i had with the shoe is that it stretches real fast. So when buying the shoe if it feels tight get it tighter. Because in a week or two the shoe will stretch and mold to your foot. I was working on this boudleringproblem where every move you had to hand heel match. And unless the shoe was glued to your foot, you would slip out. Very aggervating. I wouldn't suggest this shoe if you were just going to boulder. You can do it but get a better shoe that is designed to boulder.
But other than the stretching, the shoes is great for face climbing and multi-pitch climbs! I can climb in that shoe all day. Very comfortable. Very good with edging, smearing and the rubber is a nice touch. My feet never slip. It makes me feel like I am cheating.
All and all its a good all around shoe. Its at a good price for someone who wants a more advanced shoe than the ones they've been renting from their local gym. Its a good shoe for someone coming out of a beginner climbing level and wants to do more.

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
The Flash is a great sport climbing and bouldering shoe. It edges well and stays comfortable all the way through longer climbs. The velcro keeps its strength and I have never had a problem with the strap buckles breaking! The shoe is somewhat narrow, but even with a fat foot I fit into it. Great for gym climbing too!

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I used to climb in the 510 anasazi velcro until I discovered the madrock flashes. Not only are they a fraction of the price, but they fit more comfortably, break in faster and the rubber is way more sensitive and super sticky. I used to doubt mad rock rubber, but the quality of their shoes and their rubber really is top knotch. I use these for everything and anything and they have defintely become my "go to" shoe. They fit more comfortable than any shoe I have ever owned and they break in really easily, which I would prefer over weeks of breaking in shoes. I use them on anything from super techy faces to burly overhangs.... they havent let me down yet.

Comments about Mad Rock Flash Rock Shoes:
I enjoy using my Flash shoes from Mad Rock for climbing all different types of rock. They are a great shoe and the low price tag does not effect the performance. The rubber is very sticky and has only improved over time. I prefer to size these shoes tight for sport climbing and bouldering. I feel that they fit perfectly out of the box and as they start to stretch I can just tighten the velcro down to adjust. Whether you are a pro or just starting our, this shoe is the one for you.
