You can actually see the real whole lentils in this! This was tasty and just the right amount of food, I felt just a little past full (which is good when backapcking). Will definitely buy again!

Maybe it was just a combination of things, but I really don't think so... this meal tasted fine but gave me some awful gas that lasted nearly 24 hours straight. Scary!

I've found that on any backpacking trip there is always one night that you and your hiking buddy are a little less hungry than the other nights. That night is when this meal is perfect for two. Not only is it filling enough for two, you actually finish the entire pouch and avoid the pain of figuring out what to do from the leftovers in the full-bore 2 serving dinners.

Tastes awesome, and you know it's healthy because it's organic and balanced. I always pack cayenne to add heat to whatever, which gives this the kick I enjoy. If you happen to still have some packed cheese or dried veggies left in your bear box, even better!
