The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
We have two of these for our big lab mixes and they love them. The sleeping bag material is really nice and they're super easy to take camping, traveling, etc. They aren't all that thick, but if they were it would make them harder to pack so I'm okay with it. All my immediate family members have one of these for each dog and I haven't heard any complaints!

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
I purchased this with the intent on using it for car travel and backpacking. The overall quality seems good, but it is definitely not something my dog would use for a nightly bed at home. It's very thin compared to his regular dog bed. It's great for the back of the car and also fits an extra large crate well. I haven't taken it in the backcountry yet, but it will definitely require a compression bag. Also wish it came in something other than blue, but not a big deal.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
I really like this bed, and the dogs (and cats) do too. It folds and rolls up nicely, thought it would be nice if the stuff sack was a little smaller. It is thicker and softer than I thought it would be. There is rarely not an animal on it. It does slip when a dog jumps on or off, but I put it in a corner area and it doesn't move around too much. Fits great in the back of my Impreza Outback.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
This bed is literally the best out there. we were concerned about how comfortable any backpacking bed would be for out shepherd/greyhound mix who loves soft surfaces. After trying out a couple, this one was the best around. we put it in an REI compression sack to help it fit well into our packs. the bed is awesome, within 20 seconds of unpacking it, our pup was rolling around on its plush surface and within 1 minute, was fast asleep. it is now a must-have on all vacations, be it backpacking trips, or hotel vacations. she loves it.

As soon as I took this bed out of the package, My weimaraner immediately plopped himself down on it (with part of the packaging to rip to shreds;) The bed squishes up nicely for quick and easy travel. It's perfect for in the car, camping, at home, or just visiting a friend when you need a place for your pet to go rest. Love it. Will probably buy a second just to have an extra.

I love this bed and so does my dog. I travel a lot and my dog always goes along. It is nice to have a bed that packs into its own stuff sack and does not take up a lot of room as baggage.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
I have owned 2 of these beds for about 8 years now and they are still my "go to" travel bed for my pooches (husky, petite great dane, boston terrier). They travel with me to work, friends houses, camping, canoeing and for car travel. I even use them around the house. Easy to wash and after 8 + years of frequent use I will need to do a small seam repair on one soon. They are not super thick or plush but all my dogs love them. Like another reviewer I wish they packed down smaller but for the padding I think the only way to go less bulky would be an inflatable bed...

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
I bought this because of the reviews from other Greyhound owners, and have to agree with them. This is a wonderful bed our new Grey. I was a little worried when it first arrived and I pulled it out since she started scratching and biting at it playfully when I put it down in front of her, but it withstood the punishment. She quickly laid down on it and looked to be quite comfortable. Later that evening she even when to this bed when one of her larger beds was right next to it. The compact size when packed up makes it convenient for taking it along to Greyhound meet and greets that we attend, and I'm sure it will be invaluable when we travel with our dog.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
This bed keeps my greyhound-pit warm & comfy sleeping in a tent - which is saying a lot because he gets cold easily and is definitely a greyhound in his need for soft, cozy spots to sleep.
It doesn't pack down quite as small as I'd hoped, but maybe a little compression sack will help that. And it's totally adequate for most uses - car camping, general travel, around the house - and I think it'll work fine for short backpacking trips with the dog (although we haven't tried that yet).
It is also not a huge bed - my dog is about 50 lbs and he can lay out on his side fine on it, but I imagine some of the bigger labs or other sporting dogs might find it a bit tight, especially if they like to stretch out.
If we're going on a car trip out of town, I always throw this on the back seat, so he's got "his spot" to relax. It's on the dining room floor right now where the sun shines in and he often chooses it over his favorite spot on the couch.
