Comments about Omega Pacific ISO Locking Standard D Carabiner - Anodized:
These were my first lockers and I still use them for anchor building when I take people out for top rope sessions. The anodization wears off very easily compared to other anodized carabiners. I now use them in pairs with an anodized carabiner for the bolt side and non-anodized for the rope side. This ensures the rope will never run through a carabiner that's been damaged by a bolt.
The weight is a deterrent to taking them on lead, as is the smaller opening that can make anchor building a chore after a hard lead.

Comments about Omega Pacific ISO Locking Standard D Carabiner - Anodized:
The only downside to this carabiner is that the locking mechanism locks up sometimes making it difficult to unlock with one hand. If you are like me and try to muli-task, I would suggest getting used to opening with one hand before you head out with the intent on using this biner. Other than that, this biner is perfect!

Great carabiner. I use it for rappelling and it works like a charm.

Comments about Omega Pacific ISO Locking Standard D Carabiner - Anodized:
Overall it is a good carabiner but it does scratch easy. And sometimes it is hard to use while rappelling with an ATC the sharp bend at the end gets caught up.

Comments about Omega Pacific ISO Locking Standard D Carabiner - Anodized:
I thought that the black was an odd idea, but all-in all, it's a strong, somewhat light-weight biner. Scratches are a little more noticeable with these because the silver shows through the affected areas. I will continue to use them.

Comments about Omega Pacific ISO Locking Standard D Carabiner - Anodized:
Huge load capacity, easy to lock, and does not come unlocked. It's a D, so it's not something to belay off or to use as the powerpoint of an anchor (unless you're TRing), but if you've a reasonable amount of climbing experience, that should be obvious enough. I use these biners very often with two-bolt anchors.

Comments about Omega Pacific ISO Locking Standard D Carabiner - Anodized:
This is a simple, basic, all-around locking 'biner. Easy to open, but won't unlock unless you want it to. I only got the black annodized finish to help differentiate it from my friends' gear, but don't expect the finish to stay perfect for long. Overall outstanding performance.
