    The Eagle Creek Shoe Sac is inadequate for anything larger than tennis shoes. The description states that it can hold hiking boots, but this is false. It MAY be able to hold a pair of small low-top hiking shoes, but not anything larger. It fits a size 10 pair of athletic tennis shoes snuggly--which is good--but I didn't buy it for my tennis shoes.

    This item cannot hold mid-height hiking boots (in my case, size 10 Timberland White Ledge mids; great boot for the price, by the way).

      Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It Shoe Sac:

      Great for keeping everything from dress shoes to tennis shoes or even mid-sized boots (9.5 Vasque) separated from other items in case, duffle, or pack. Have used these for years and with regular shoes, I can easily toss in a pair of moccasins for taking it easy. Putting the shoes in with the soles facing away from each other gives you the most room and don't forget to stuff small items in the shoe for even more storage. Have purchased a second one over the years just to bring another pair. Highly recommended and another great Eagle Creek product.
