Nothing more frustrating than trying to fit a square cube in a round hole--this ice tray makes tubes of ice that slip easily into sports bottles.

  • A single tray produces 27 tubes of ice measuring approximately 3-1/2" long
  • Simply fill tray with water and freeze; to release the ice run the tray under warm water

            I would have given the product no stars if it was possible. I wanted to like this product, to no avail. The ice tubes are difficult to use, messy, time consuming and frustrating. All of the things I was hoping would not happen. My bottom line is I think REI should reconsider selling such a hideous farce. I would return the two I purchased but it is not worth the gas, shipping materials, time, etc. Instead I will donate them to the Good Will and hope someone else likes it.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            Well, I have only used it twice since I bought this.
            It is little complicate to use than majority of ice trays to the point it's pakage actually recomand its user to dip it in the warm water to let loose of the ice once its done.

              I like this product. It fits easily into any water bottle. If you follow the directions on the outside wrap, you will not have any problems using the tray. I was a little worried about this product due to some of the reviews but the first time I used it I did not have any difficulty whatsoever. This was a great idea!

                      I don't know what's driving the bad reviews. Or maybe I do: those people are just impatient. At first, I had trouble getting the ice out. No amount of twisting and turning would dislodge those suckers. (HINT: this is not a regular ice tray!) So I walked over to the computer and visited the "Ice Tubes" web site to see what they suggested. (They say to run warm water over the tray). I went back and picked up the tray and half the tubes just slid out before I could even turn on the water! So, just be patient: take the tray out of the freezer, set it aside for a few minutes, turn it upside down, enjoy your ice tubes!

                      Takes forever to get the ice OUT of the tray. Dip it a few times in warm water and then jab something inside to poke it out with....no thanks, the point of this product is convenience and it is anything but convenient.

                      This is a great idea. The ice cubes fit into any size bottle openings. The only problem we had was getting the ice out of the trays. It's not quite a easy as they would have you believe. But after a few tries we found we could make it work.
