Love this peice of equipment. Great for traveling the hills, rivers or just a rain fly in tent camp. My poor tent is collecting dust but will last longer cosidering this tarp takes its place for several months a year!

This is my preferred solo trip 'tent'. takes time to learn to use it effectively but it works well. not for the people afraid a creepy crawly things.

When it comes to minimalism you can't go wrong with the siltarp. A true A-frame design with the elements and elevation taken into consideration gives you the ultimate camping experience. It's the strongest design modern chemistry has come across. That means no more worries pertaining to wear and tear. This baby will outlast you a long time. The only gripe I had to get over, and so will you, is the price.
Trust me though, it's worth getting away from the condensation filled tents. Lightweight tarps are your true "connection" with nature that I've personally always searched for. Just don't mind those bugs.

The loops make setup much easier then a tarp with gromets. Its also stronger then gromets.
