Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
I spend a ton of time on my feet in many ways, and have tried about every sock out there; thorlo,wigwam,smartwool,patagonia,coolmax,soloman,innov8,gore, You name it, but nothing compares to BRIDGEDALE SOCKS!!! I have had some for about 10 years and are still going strong. Ultra comfortable while hiking in heat(light wt) or frigid(heavier wt). Will not own anything else!

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
After alternating between 2 pair of these socks for over 1000 miles of hiking, they never wore through. Padding is perfect in key places. I love em! I'm sold.

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
Out of all the wool socks I own, these are the best. The have outlasted every other pair. They have kept their shape, still warm, and continue to amaze me every time I wear them. They are form-fitting and true to size.

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
I bought several pair about 20 years ago and they finally started showing wear. These socks just don't wear out! They wick, keep your feet warm, when needed, and cool, when needed. They are a little spendy, but hey, you get your money's worth! Bridgedale's are THE only socks I will buy, for all activities, PERIOD.

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
After 6 years of hard use, I need to start replacing these. In response to a previous comment, I have skinny ankles and haven't had a problem with them falling down. I bought the originals (probably 2nd's) at [...] but they don't have the Trekkers at this time. Even at full price, these socks are a great deal. I think that 3 pairs would last the entire PCT or AT, they are that amazing.

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
I don't really need another pair of these, because the two pair I own have covered many backpacking miles with me and they are still going strong. I've tried smartwool socks and find they don't begin to compare to the Bridgedale. Bridgedale socks don't pill up like smart wools, nor wear out or shrink. Even on non backpacking trips, I take these socks because you can get several days use out of them between washes. The only reason I'm buying another pair because my daughter tends to steal them from me......I'm trekking in Peru in April and my Bridgedales will be the ONLY socks I will take!

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
these are comfy, warm socks, but if you walk very far in them they tops fall down to your ankles and bunch up, which can get really annoying. obviously not a problem if you're just going to wear them around the house or office.
however, if you're going to spend this much on socks, you should go with the s-wool expeditions - best socks ever.

Comments about Bridgedale Trekker Socks:
I spend a lot of time outside in cold, wet weather. These socks are perfect w/hiking boots, snowshoes, skiing boots, work boots and wading boots. Great warmth and comfort, don't wear out. Better in colder climates.
