    I used to use cheap metal biners to attach gear to my ocean kayak but they kept corroding from the salt water. These plastic biners are GREAT. They are sturdy enough to attach dry bags, water bottles and tethers and DO NOT CORRODE. I also use them to attach water bottles to my day pack when moving about the City.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
