Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
If you like to carry rope to the crag over the shoulder this bag generally works well. If you prefer to stick your rope inside your climbing pack for the approach I recommend a Ropemaster or similar bag instead, due to more compact and stuffable design than the Slacker. Good bag overall.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
I've had my Super Slacker for about 6 years for trad climbing, involving long approaches, and it's had some very heavy use and has held together very well. About the only thing that I don't like is the way the strap pad was designed. It's small and moves around so I enlarged the pad and fixed its position so it doesn't move around on the strap. Now all's good! It's my main bag!

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
Not impressed!!!! this bag tries to be more than a rope bag so that means that it does a couple of things poorly instead of one thing really well. The bag zips up one side, has a drawstring on either end, and compression straps running around it which is garbage I can’t see how it can be used as a bucket either and the handles are uncomfortable bottom line is people that like this product haven’t used anything else.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
I bought this bag along with my rope, while my friend just bought a rope. After about a month of hard climbing he regrets not having bought a bag. Enough said!

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
This is by far the best rope bag i have ever owned! Its great and its super versatile! I have a 60M 10.5mm rope and it fits in there pretty snug with some room for other equipment if needed!

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
I really like this rope bag! It keeps your rope clean at the base of climbs with the large fold-out style tarp. The bag is very lightweight and seemingly durable. It is large enough to hold a 60m rope along with some extra gear. If I could do it again, I'd buy another BD slacker.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
One of the best rope bags out there. The tarp provides lots of room to lay out your rope and stand on outside. It'll keep your rope looking nice and clean.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:
I like it, there's enough room inside for my rope and just about everything else I'd need for my climbing day without bringing another bag. I really like that the fold out tarp can be used as a barrier between my rope and my other gear while the bag is closed. I'm not so sure about the sturdiness of the strap and handle. The drawstrings also seem a little flimsy. However, I just got it, I don't know yet if it breaks.
