My girlfriend put one of our nalgenes in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and it melted a big chunk on the lid to the point where it became useless. i was bummed out, even tried melting it back and putting it on...didnt work. but strolling around REI i found a replacement lid for only a few bucks and picked it up. im really glad they came out with this so i can keep my old bottle instead of having to toss it. swapping the lids is super easy.

The product works great, the colors don't match what is shown. Ordered a yellow top and received a pastel yellow lid. At least it was only a two dollar loss.
