The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Second pair of these shoes. Really enjoyed the first, but the sizing in the new design was off for me. Bought the same size but my toes on one foot were scraping the front, this didn't change going half size up....full size was way too big. Disappointed and looking for a new shoe.

Comments about Brooks PureConnect 2 Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
I bought these shoes two days ago during the REI Anniversary sale. I actually wanted to buy the Vibram Bikalas but they did not have my size. Not that these shoes were second best, but I own a pair of Vibram Kimodos and use them mainly to CrossFit (which I love). I tried running in my vibrams a few days ago and developed blisters. My calves were also very sore, but that was expected. Anyhow, I wanted to buy another pair of vibrams that were a half to a full size up in order to accomodate the space for toe socks (for my blisters). I decided to go with the Pure Connects on a whim and am very glad I did (well that, and I knew REI's great return policy would allow me to buy the vibrams if I wasn't satisfied with these). Although this shoe does force me to run on my midfoot/forefoot, it doesn't do so much as the vibrams- which makes this a good transition shoe, in my opinion. There's also enough cushioning to feel like a running shoe and they are very light. I ran 4 miles in them this morning without any issues. I made it 2 miles in my vibrams before my calves were screaming. I probably wouldn't use these to CrossFit as I have my vibrams for that.
If it helps any customers out there, I have very very flat feet. I feel these shoes help add more support, especially in changing my stride. When I run with my vibrams, I can see the difference in difficulty of running on my forefoot. These, again, make that very easy to do so. The shoe seemed to run a little small. I wore a 9.5 in Asics Kayanos, a 40 in my Vibram Kimodos, and I was a 10 in these- but the Pure Connect 10's are snug (which is what I prefer, but I can see others going an extra 1/2 size up for comfort).

Comments about Brooks PureConnect 2 Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
This is my second pair of PureConnect shoes. At first, I was concerned that the redesign would not be as comfortable. Turns out, that was unfounded. Even though these are a barefoot style of running shoe, they have great arch support. I have high arches, and I struggle with finding shoes that provide enough support. Overall, I am really happy.

This was my first pair of minimalist shoes! I LOVE THEM! So comfortable and lightweight. Great on the treadmill and on the road. I'm 200+ miles in with them - and they still feel amazing when I slip them on.

This is a super lightweight sneaker that is great for the road or packed trail. I use a different sneaker for hard core trail runs. Support so that foot strikes on towards the toes first and not the heels. This shoe has retrained my running motion and I have shaved off a good 1-1.5 off my mile and I don't feel like I am working so hard.

I just bought my 2nd pair of these shoes. They have been a great pair of running shoes for my high arches and narrow heals.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I've been a barefoot style runner for several years now and these are a great option for winter running with good traction and still lightweight and neutral. Be careful, they do not run true to size. Size up 1/2 from normal and RUN FAST!
