The fantastic part is that it has thumb holes, a zippered pocket in the back large enough to keep your hat/map/keys, etc., plus another pocket on the arm for an ipod. I tried my iphone in the sleeve, though, and it was ok. It's better for smaller ipods I think, so I kept mine in the back pocket.
One would think from a lot of the product descriptions that women aren't interested in good specs, but for those who are, this is great.
I use it to run in the fall and spring. You could also run in zero weather, but would need at least two layers below. I don't like to be cold, though, so adjust accordingly.
The fit is fitted, but not compression. The back dips down a bit, which is nice because it prevents any drafts. I'd say it's also quite stylish. I've worn it with a pair of jeans and my light-weight boots for errand running more than once.
Sporthill is a surprise new brand for me and I really like it. I even went and bought the heavier-weight Splice too.

With a trim figure, I have been happy with the many Sporthill pieces I have, but this one has a very poor fit. Shoulders fit but it flares out at the waist, looking bad and, more importantly, in cold weather would be drafty. I'm taking this back.

I read the bad reviews about fit before I ordered this. It just arrived and fits fine. I had this top from a prior year, and it had the fit problems described in the other reviews. This one is just fine. A good weight for xc skiing and I will try it for cold weather hiking. I am buying a second one for my daughter.

I bought this shirt in a size M and L. I found that the sleeves were too short on both shirts with your thumbs in the thumb holes. Also the thumb holes were weird, it had 2 holes. A small one and a bigger one. The small hole was too small to even put my thumb in and the larger one was above the smaller one which made the sleeves pull even more. Shirt was very thin for a winter shirt and not comfortable. I was very disappointed and bummed about the poor fit. I ended up returning both shirts and went with a different brand all together.

I ordered this shirt online in a size medium and a size Large. I found the shirt to fit awkwardly. I could not put my thumbs in the thumb holes because the sleeves were to short in both the medium and large shirt. The fabric was thinner than I expected for a winter shirt although it did keep me very warm walking around the house while I tried it for comfort. I ended up returning this shirt because the sleeves were just too short and the shirt just wasn't as cozy as I wanted it.
