by fromRecreational use only If you're only going to use these on light rails to trails or short recreational cycling, they should be fine. I would upgrade, though to some Wellgo M-21 ATB Pedals w/ toe clips for more serious bike commuting/distance touring.

by fromDecent pedals for bike commuting Deploy these pedals with the Wellgo MT-3 Toeclips with Straps and you'll have a decent set of pedals to start bike commuting.

by fromSolid pedal Very stable, with great traction to hold your foot in place, but easy to bail out when you need to. They're also cheap so though you cant replace the pins (which are very durable) you can just replace the pedals.

by fromWork well I am newer to off-road cycling than road cycling. I tried clipless pedals, but fell a lot with my feet in the clips, causing injuries. These pedals allow me to ride off-road but will get off the pedals when I'm about to fall over, making it safer for me. I like the prongs that stick up to keep my foot solid on the pedals in tough terrain.

by fromGreat value for the money! I bought these the same day I bought my GT Timberline 1.0 to give an instant upgrade to the resin platforms that come with the bike. For the price, these made for a great fit. They are a bit on the heavy side, but for someone with large feet, they are a great upgrade from the usual MTB pedals. I have no problem getting efficient turns with these pedals, and they give me the perfect amount of grip. Definitely no regrets about buying these!

by fromSticky Pedals These pedals were a big improvement over stirrups for riding Alaskan trails. Much safer and easier to use while providing good power.

by fromWorth every penny! This was one of the few "upgrades" I made to my bike. I generally keep my bike in a medium or "high" gear, so I ride "standing" and need a lot of tourque. Having a wide, sturdy pedal "With Teeth" is awesome and much more comfortable on my feet!
