The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I used the product for a week a Burning Man and then took it for an overnighter in Yosemite, with the hose attachment.
During day 2 in YNP, I noticed dampness on the clothes under the bladder and on the bladder textile material itself. I suspect it was coming from the cap or hose attachment, but it is difficult to be totally sure. I didn't see any pinhole leaks when I squeezed the bladder. Anyways, it doesn't really matter for my purposes. If it had been leaking on down instead of fleece, it would have been a potentially serious issue.
Because my pack is old and does not have a dedicated bladder pouch, I typically lay the bladder in last, with the cap facing down and hose angled towards my shoulder, then strap the pack's top pocket down on top of the whole setup. It shouldn't have stressed the MSR design. I'll be exchanging it ASAP. Not sure if I'll retry MSR in hopes I got a faulty one or try a new brand.
If I exchange and the new one performs better, I'll edit this review or something.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
It's a little on the heavy side compared to some BUT this thing is a tank. I can't imagine, beside a seam failing this thing ever getting a hole it it, even if I threw it down a mountain.

We used two of these for a multi-day kayak trip. Unlike a rigid water bottle or cooler it is flexible and was very easy to stow.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I bought 2 of these to use down in Big Bend National park. They worked fantastic. They are big for backpacking..obviously. If they are used for car camping and adventures they work great. Really heavy duty craftsmanship..should last for many years to come. Also great for festivals!

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I backpack the Ventana Wilderness of the Big Sur, CA are frequently and am tough on my equipment, so I am always looking for light weight, durable gear to accompany me on my journeys. This 10L Dromedary bag from MSR is just that. There are a few drawbacks though:
Good:
Light, versatile, adjustable, VERY tough.
Bad:
The hydration adapter that is available is a bad design for use as a bladder in a sleeve inside a pack. The problem is that the elbow that screws onto the standard cap of the bladder sticks out a good ways. Thus, when you shove this down into a hydration sleeve in a pack and pack it up tight, you have to be really careful how you pack in order to avoid damaging that elbow pressing out into the pack. It's also easy to bend the hose over at the elbow with gear packed tight against it thereby restricting flow, a very frustrating thing when you've spent several minutes packing up and are setting off on a long hike.
Long story short:
This is a great bladder with lots of options for attaching to a pack or compressing the bladder with the straps that run the perimeter of the bladder. However, MSR needs to develop a cap specifically made for hydration hose attachment that is more low profile and that protects the hose attachment at the bladder.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
This product is as good as the two liter version I purchased 20 years or so ago. I also purchased the attachment to use it like a faucet when in camp (nice feature when camping with others), and the bite valve attachment to use. Unbeatable combination for hiking / backpacking / canoeing / etc.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
the cordura models have allowed me to carry days of water on foul rivers where filtering and boiling would not be enough... even when laying in the spunk water all day they never leaked or became contaminated.Great product.
