The free application, recently updated for the iPhone and iPod touch, now allows outdoor enthusiasts on Android to access the most up-to-date skiing and snowboarding conditions at resorts around the world. Recently added features include expanded social media integration and push notifications for multiple resorts.

The Snow and Ski Report by REI app for Android offers its users a wealth of information about weather and ski resort conditions. Skiers and snowboarders can customize the application and access information for up to 12 of their favorite resorts. The app provides one-touch access to weather conditions and forecasts, amount of new snow, trail and lift conditions, zoom-enabled trail maps, general resort information, live web cam views of the resort and the resort's own Twitter feed. Users can also enable the option to receive push notifications to stay on top of what's going on at their favorite resorts as it happens.
Users can also share resort conditions with friends and family through social network integration. A 'share' button located on the top of the screen permits one to send current snowfall and temperature reports via email, Facebook and Twitter.
