Year Round PEAK Program Free

Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids-PEAK Program. The goal of PEAK program is to educate children about enjoying and caring for the outdoors. Through hands-on, interactive activities children are taught to have fun outside while practicing responsible outdoor recreation.

2009 2009 Climbing Wall Schedule $

Looking for a family activity on Saturdays? Our climbing wall is an exciting way to get the whole family involved in a challenging and healthy activity. REI's experienced staff will teach you the basics of rock climbing in a fun and motivating environment. Don?t have any climbing gear? No problem, we have harnesses, rock shoes, and helmets ready to use. Never climbed before? There are plenty of ways up the wall, with easy to moderated level routes to choose from. Members climb for FREE! 12PM-3PM

Fall 2009 Inland Northwest Land Trust Photo Show Free

This summer Wes Hanson, Paul Pryant, and Phyllis Mott allowed Inland Northwest Land Trust to offer photography classes on their land. The students entered their work into a show presented by the Trust. Come by REI Spokane's Community Room and see a selection of photos from the show.

The way the moon illuminates the snow and surrounding area is an experience you do not want to miss. After exploring the area we you will return to the Selkirk Lodge for a post-hike meal and the chance to share in the telling of stories with your other hikers.
