Great pack for a day long hike. The weight is well centered on the hips and the open back really keeps your back dry. Multi-adjustments help distribute the load and the many pockets add convenience. I also have the Gregory 18L but this actually carries lighter because of the hip belt. Highly recommend.
I love this little pack. Very comfortable hip belt/shoulder straps. Nice padding on both and the trampoline style back panel fit me perfectly. The hip belt has large zippered pockets. The main compartment is just enough, not too much. Pack a camera and lens, lunch and a jacket. The side water bottle pockets are slim and fit a 750ml Smartwater bottle easily. The accessory pockets are all thoughtfully designed. I can’t say enough good things about this pack. The perimeter frame is so good it’s almost overkill but I’ll take it! Absolutely worth 5 stars!
