Squeaky Keen
These shoes were my pick of the three Keen pairs I ordered. They are light colored, but my plan is to wear them inside my house. I have orthotics and this pair ran a half inch bigger than the other two Keen pairs, even though they were all size 7. The toe box is roomy and that is a plus for my wide feet. The loop on the back of the shoe for a hand hold when the laces are loosened allows me to slide my foot in easily. Unfortunately, the left shoe squeaks each time I take a step. Something in the heal area causes the squeak, which is annoying. However, other aspects of the fit and the ability wear them with orthotics made me decide to keep them.
Trendy but not made to last
I bought these in two colors back in february and have been wearing them to work everyday since (it’s not July). I’m on my feet a lot at work and I also walk for 15 minutes as part of my work commute, so it’s safe to say I’ve put these shoes to the test. They’re comfortable but not very breathable so not ideal on hot days. They also don’t grip well on wet surfaces so I’ve had some unsteady moments on rainy days. But the biggest disappointment is that one shoe already has a hole in the toe area. I expected better durability and for that reason will not purchase again.
Very comfortable
I love these shoes. I just ordered another pair. I have plantar fasciitis and these are very comfortable. I walk 2 - 3 miles a day and these are great.
