Ever since this company changed names, I cannot wear their clothing. They have shifted the sizing, so the xs I used to wear in H. Toad is now too big. It's not like I can just size down, as they don't offer an xxs. also, the clothes are always longer than shown on the model-this dress just hit my knees, making it a few inches longer than the model would indicate. For reference, Im 5'2" 105lbs. Also, they don't seem to be made as well since the company changed names-H. Toad clothing used to be tagless, but this had a big tag in the neckline. I give up-too bad-I really liked the clothing line before.
Perfect throw on dress
PRO's: - Much more flattering on the body that on hanger. - Great material that is so comfortable. - Very, very flattering on my body - hugs my waist appropriately so you can see my shape but at same time the material and fit "hids" your not so great spots - aka tummy area. FIT: Runs big - I usually wear a Small/Medium (Waist: Size 4 or 28"; Bust 32D; 5'6"; 133 lbs) and I got a XS. CON's: Nothing yet! Dress can be easily packed so I am on the website now to buy my second dress for my trip to Europe! :)
Travel friendly
I bought this recently but haven't had the chance to really wear it but the moment I slipped it on it was so comfortable. The dress is made to withstand the wrinkles from being stuffed in a suitcase, the dress has it's own wrinkle design which is flattering. I'm 5'5" 130-135# and bought a xs. I have an athletic slender build and it fit wonderfully. It hugged my curved nicely without being tight or clingy. I can't wait to wear it on my next travel adventure.
Fabulous dress
So comfortable and well made, fits perfectly. I am 5'4" and 36-32-38, and a medium fit as if it was made for me. Fell just above the knee, and is neither form fitting nor too loose. Very flattering in the rear. Horizontal textured material hides flaws and breathes very well. Hoping to buy this in other colors, and that HT brings it back next year!
Simple yet Elegant
Got this simply cut dress several years ago in XS coral and have enjoyed it so much that I just purchased another in inky teal- a beautiful color in person. As stated by other reviewers, this tank dress does run a tad large. For a more fitted fit or if you are between sizes you may want to size down one full size. For reference, I'm 5'2" 108 pounds and got XS--which is slightly too large on my petite frame but doable. Pros: interesting fabric, thick fabric which drapes nicely, simple cut, fabric does not wrinkle, travels great, easy to wash and dry, no fading, flattering on, beautiful color options, perfect length and can be dressed up or down with accessories. I rea love the rich "inky teal" color offered this year. Wish it would come in size XXS but I'm hoping to find someone to take up straps 1 inch at the shoulders which should help considerably. Highly recommend!!!!!
Cute, comfortable but runs very large
Bought this in a S (5'3", usually a size 4 or small, 118 lbs) and it was way, way too big. Returned it.
Easy Style
Easy dress to wear. Super comfortable, stretchy, stylish, super fit in all the right places but not clingy. Bought hibiscus color - summery. Would buy this style again.
Cute!
This doesn't look like much on the hanger but it's really cute on. I can't wait till the weather warms up so I can wear this! I'm 5'1 and it hits right above the knee.
flattering and easy
I own this now in black and the inky teal and I love this dress. I carry a little extra weight in my mid section, but this dress doesn't seem to draw much attention to that area which I love. The fabric is nice and it washes well. I usually wear it with a jacket or cardigan over the top, but it can be worn without when it is warmer. It hides bra straps fairly well, but not perfectly.
Great for travel-dress up or down
This is a perfect travel piece. Super comfortable, no wrinkles, flattering style and goes anywhere. I wore it at a beach-side lunch & later added a nice wrap over it for a dressy dinner. Just perfect. Plan to wear as a bathing suit cover on a boat trip also. So glad I purchased it. Haven't washed it yet but it looks to be very well made.
