by fromNice Hammock, for a beginner I haven't used it yet backpacking but I have set it up in my yard. Heavy duty ropes are strong, but will certainly need some nylon straps to avoid damaging a tree. Looks like a quality product and I will definitely update if there's any failures! Very comfy!

by fromReally good Great for afternoon naps with air temps over 70*f, great bug net. good headroom. Great price. Hope it lasts. Suspension system pretty fussy, though. The ropes can also damage trees. I suggest an upgrade to straps. Camping, it gets pretty cold underneath as the temp drops.

by fromA little unstable, but comfortable First time I set it up, one of the net stays punctured out the casing it was in an put a small hole in the net at that point, I reinserted it and tied off each end of the sewed tube to prevent and further issue, I found it to be a little unstable compared to another hammock I use with a wider gathering point, I added a 10 pvc tube through each end and ran the rope through it and 1/2 hitched the rope to each end and secured with a bowline knot, now is very stable. sleeps good and no gnats.
