The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 3 Tentis rated4.8333out of5by6.
Rated5out of5byfromLove this tent!Hands down the best tent I've ever owned. Super easy to pitch, easy to keep the fly properly tensioned, great ventilation. Have sat out several heavy rain and hail storms in comfort. Use the 3 person primarily for 2 person use. The 3 person is only a couple of ounces more than the 2 person but offers a huge upgrade in space. Luxury living! Given the thin, lightweight nature of the material I am extra careful about where I pitch it. I use a sheet of Tyvek house-wrap cut to size for a footprint. Cheaper, lighter, and more durable than the BA footprint.

Rated4out of5byfromGood tent misleading weightI am very happy with this tent, I originally bought the UL2 but there was not enough room for two of us (I would end up pressed into the wall). This has much better floor space but the weight is misleading. If you want to take all of this tent with you it will weigh 4lbs 5oz according to my scale. I have yet to figure out what they are stripping off to get down to 3lbs 10oz. Plus you will need a ground tarp, which is another 8-9 oz; the floor material is thin and I baby it when we are out. For full-blown retail I would not buy it again. Instead I would recommend the REI quarter dome 3 but I got this one on sale for roughly the same price as the quarter dome.

Rated5out of5byfromSo HappyI'm in tears this thing is so nice. Three 20" sleeping pads fit side-by-side without overlapping. What else do you want? The material is clearly something out of tomorrow and might last forever. It feels like air. I backpack here in beautiful Colorado a lot. Sometime with my 2 kids, sometimes alone. This tent is the answer. I will gladly take this on solo missions as the space-to-weight ratio means that for the burden of carrying an extra few ounces I can enjoy a penthouse (tenthouse) suite all to myself. I am 6'1" and sitting up straight there is easily eight inches of headroom. If I try to find something to complain about it is how the 2 hubs, poles and shock cords, when broken down for packing, create a mildly awkward bundle of hardware that does not store down into a tight assembly. It seems like this will put an extra burden on the shock cords where they meet the hubs and expose them to additional abrasion over time. Then again, the engineering of this tent is so dialed in that I suspect I'm wrong. You want to feel like you got what you paid for and this delivers. I can't even find a stray thread. It's a tight product. Happy camping.

Rated5out of5byfromSolid backpacking tentWhile I love this tent for its light weight, ease in set-up, and packability, I'm not a huge fan on its airflow. I had several nights of condensation, though I have never gotten wet from it. I think they could increase the size of the vent windows in the outer shell a little more. That being said, man is this a breeze to set up and frankly, it's bomb proof in wind and rain!! I love the flexibility and various configurations available (with fly, without, only fly and footprint, etc....) I also love the number of loops on the interior where I can hang things such as mini-lanterns or speakers. I only use this for backpacking. If car camping, I choose my large Northface 6-Man tent simply for space, but this is awesome for long backpacking adventures!

Rated5out of5byfromGreat spacious lightweight tent.We bought this to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary as the lightweight tent we received when we were engaged (NF Junebug) was getting a little threadbare. We aren't particularly large people, but the tent is so lightweight we decided to splurge in favor of spaciousness and in case we were holed up playing cards in the rain for a day or two. This was hands down the best choice for weight/space ratio, and we love that you can sit up comfortably. I loved the idea of the his/her doors on either side but am not as enthused about the execution. It is more difficult to enter and exit in the rain without getting gear wet, and I can see now that the exit at the foot of the tent helps in keeping the sleeping area clean and dry. Nevertheless we love this tent and hope to use it for twenty five years as well. I don't necessarily expect it, but it does seem sturdy for the weight!

Rated5out of5byfromNo regretsI own 2 Big Agnes Copper Spur Tents. A UL3 and a UL2. The UL3 is the one I use when my wife goes along. At first I was concerned with the thinness of the material, but so far, so good. I did purchase the optional Big Agnes footprint for added durability. We prefer to keep our packs and other gear inside the tent, and the UL3 is the perfect fit for 2 with gear. Dual entrances, with large door openings, make getting in and out easy. At first I wasn't sure if I would like the way the doors open, but after using the UL3 and UL2 on several trips, they are just fine. Have used this tent in summer only, and have had no issues with condensation. Went through a 6 hr rain on one trip, and had zero leaks. Setup is quick and easy with the hub system. Just a few minutes from start to finish. The trail weight of this tent is very acceptable. Lightest tents I've ever owned.
