    • Vapur MicroFilter water bottle is easy to use: fill the bottle with clear water, insert the MicroFilter and screw the cap on and then drink by sucking water through the spout
    • Or, get down close to the stream or lake and use the straw MicroFilter without the flexible bottle to drink straight from the source
    • Hollow-fiber filter membrane has a high flow rate so you can sip on the straw and it filters water as it's on the way to your mouth; no pumping, no batteries and no chemicals
    • 0.2-micron filter physically removes 99.9999% of all bacteria, such as salmonella, cholera and E.coli; removes 99.9% of all protozoa, such as giardia and cryptosporidium
    • Effectively filters more than 132 gal. (500 liters)
    • Weighing only 1.4 oz., the flexible 32 fl. oz. bottle is about 1/4 the weight of a 32 fl. oz. hard-plastic water bottle
    • Patented flexible design of the bottle is lighter and easier to hold than a rigid plastic bottle, and it folds flat when empty to fit compactly in your backpack
    • Durable three-ply construction allows the bottle to be folded and frozen without damaging it
    • Polyethylene/nylon bottle construction with antimicrobial lining won't impart tastes or odors to your water
    • Water-tight cap has a flip-top opening for easy sipping; unscrew the cap and remove the filter from the bottle when you need to refill
    • Comes with a plastic accessory carabiner so you can clip the bottle to a backpack strap; carabiner easily attaches to and removes from the cap
    • Vapur MicroFilter water bottle filter is 100% BPA free; water bottle is dishwasher safe

Vapur MicroFilter Water Bottle Filter is rated 2.8333 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Compact, but limited I was stoked to see this product roll out since I've gotten used to compact, one-bottle filtration - but, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I've used other "filter-inside-the-bottle" and love the convenience for ultralight backpacking. This product is well built and has lasted through a few backcountry trips; but it takes a long time to squeeze out water into a cooking pot. Although light, convenient, and packable - the low flow rate keeps it from getting a higher rating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish I hadn't spent the money... Excruciatingly slow. Vapur says .5liters per minute... not even close, more like 4oz. per minute. Maybe, 'maybe' 8oz. with the kind of death grip that makes you think that you're liable to pop the bottle itself. I just spent 7 days on the Appalachian Trail with this as my only filter and it's soooo slow and difficult to use I opted for boiling my water and relied on it only out of desperation. I actually gave up and drank straight from a few sources unfiltered because I was so thirsty and didn't have the strength or time. I love the bottle, I have 2 others and I think they're the greatest. The filter is effective at filtering bacteria but almost unusable, here are the reasons: 1. It only dribbles 4oz. of water per minute. 2. There's no way you can use this as a straw practically unless you can suck a golf ball through a garden hose. 3. I'm a strong man with a climber's grip and I had to squeeze with both hands wringing the bottle to get even the slightest amount of water out of the bottle. If you know you're water source is contaminated and you have no other recourse but this filter, use it. Otherwise, not really viable. Bottom line: Buy the bottle and a hand pump filter, skip this microfilter combo.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slow water flow Initial impression. Very slow water flow. Requires strong throat muscles to suck water. Not impressed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe - Simple - Compact This Vapur Microfilter assures me that I will be drinking clean, safe water regardless of the source. The Micorfilter removes 99.9999% of Bacteria and Protozoa (including Giardia and E.Coli) and it's super light, weighing in at only 2.4 ounces. The filter is good for hundreds of liters of clean filtered water. No batteries, no pumping, no waiting, no hassle. The best feature is the bottle folds and rolls up when not in use. It's BPA free too. It's a must have for backpacking, travel and backcountry adventures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Solution Hydration is a problem while big game hunting in remote locations. This filter complements a hydration bladder with an inline filter. I use one or the other depending on my pack configuration. A titanium carabiner would make this 5-star worthy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Funny taste Was very excited for this product being a long time fan of vapur bottles. There is nothing new with the bottle and therefore nothing wrong with the design. The filter, however, was not what was expected. A very plasticky/glue-like taste was presence when testing with tap water and filtered water. Tried cycling water through the filter to get rid of it but no progress after a month so I brought it back. Maybe I'll try them again in a year or so, hopefully just a bad batch. Also, not practical for use as squeeze filter, the straw extends to the bottom and an inverted squeeze works for only a small fraction of the bottle. Can't roll up the bottle with the filter and a slow trickle with a firm squeeze. Have tried the life straw and it is a better filter with no taste but they're the same design.
