I have been bike commuting in Seattle year round for over 20 years. I have tried a variety of clothing options, opting for synthetic fibers most frequently. However, I prefer wearing clothes that I can wear at work. Enter the Levi commuter jean. Overall, this is the best cotton jean I have worn while riding. Its plant based water resistant treatment helps to wick both sweat and water. Equally as important, the dark color gives this jean a dresser look. They hold up well in the wash, and only shrank a tiny bit. Levi recommends cold water washing. Unfortunately, the cotton is not organic.
