Comments about Patagonia Fuego 32L Backpack - 2012 Closeout:
I first used this for a trip to Chile for which I needed a single pack for the airplane travel (passport security, pens and books, etc.). I also wanted it for day excursions and hiking. It served well in both. For hiking, the straps were easily adjusted to hold the pack against my body (which got a bit damp). I like the MANY pockets and the outside pocket with the wrapover tab for holding a jacket - other packs at this price don't have as many. The only thing I'd add is a wider hip belt with quick pockets, but that's normally found on higher-end packs with some sort or rigid frame which I didn't want that for this purpose.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
