Light, formfitting, warm, not itchy even after wearing them for three days. Wicks moisture and drys quickly. I think 5 stars says it all.
When I first tried it on it felt a little tight, but they turned out great! Just wore them while hiking for 8+ miles at Sequoia National Park. They felt way nicer than the columbia synthetic baselayer I also have. It feels like you have nothing on. As far as warmth it wasn't under freezing so I'm not sure how it would fair in those temps, but it kept me very comfortable during the hike.
The seat wears out pretty fast. Careful not to moon other campers! Despite that it was comfortable. Smart wool is a step up and much thicker. This one sometimes left me cold in icy conditions without being active.
I work outside everyday. In the winter months I wear long underwear nearly every day, I have tried many brands so far these are my current favorites. A bit pricy but worth it!
They are awesome my boxers icebreakers and a shell pant were perfect for a 20 degree day @ Lost Trail.
I bought these for my husband. He likes them very much and says they are light weight and comfortable.
I like them. For the thickness and weight, they are warm. Worked well in 20F Ina hunting trip.
great... keep our son warm .. and there easy to wash .. no shinkage
