fromVery Nice! This is a well made bag. I'm very happy with it overall. I like the fact that it is very light, stylish, and versatile. The main bag surprisingly fits A LOT of things compared to how it looks.
It would be nice to have a stop in the handle pull mid-way through. I'm not as tall, so I don't need to pull out the handle all the way out. Pulling the bag with the handle pulled all the way out makes it a bit cumbersome because of the angle.
It would also be nice if it would be easier to access and put away the straps on the main bag. There are a lot of clasps to fuss with, and this take time.
Also, I think it would be nice if the removable bag was just a bit larger in size (it has to be removed anyway for the main bag to be a carry on).
I also wish there were more color choices.

fromGood Bag - Almost Great My review is based on a 5 night trip to Hawaii - I did not have to carry heavy clothes. The two bags are compact but I carried all I needed with some room leftover for other small items.
The main bag without the day pack zipped on is 22-3/8" tall, 14" wide and 8-1/4" deep. With the day pack zipped on the combined bags are about 14" deep. My measurements are exterior dimensions including the bags and hardware. Combined weight of both bags is 6 lbs 3 oz.
The day pack accommodated a 13" laptop, digital camera & lens, iPad, Garmin GPS, chargers & cables for all electronics, toilet kit, sunglasses, reading glasses, cell phone, magazine and trail mix snacks.
The main bag accommodated 1 pair Vans sneakers w/3 pair socks, 1 pair flip flops, 3 T-shirts, 2 short sleeve dress shirts, 4 boxer shorts, 2 pair cargo shorts, 2 board shorts, 1 1/4 zip pullover, baseball hat, 2 snorkel dive masks
By removing the shoulder and waist straps to the main bag, I packed my wife's sneakers, yoga garments and a nylon string day pack in the area where the straps are normally stowed.
The main bag and day pack appear to be constructed of quality material. The T-handle extends and retracts easily and the wheels roll smoothly. Zippers open and close smoothly too. Access to all compartments is good.
The day pack zips easily on and off with a little practice. With the day pack zipped off, the main bag fits easily in the aircraft overhead compartment. The day pack is small, but once at our destination can carry a beach towel, water bottles, dive masks, sun block, camera, and lunch. The day pack shoulder and chest straps are comfortable and stay out of the way when stowed in pockets.
I like the option of using the main bag's shoulder straps if stairs or rough pavement is encountered. Converting the rolling bag into backpack mode is somewhat involved. For me, this is the weak design feature of the Osprey Ozone Convertible. Rather than simply pulling shoulder straps out of a pocket, similar to the integrated day pack, the main bag straps must be accessed from behind the zipped panel on the back. Four clips must be inserted into respective buckles before hoisting onto shoulders. Sounds simple but the clips/buckles are a little fussy.
The padded waist and shoulder straps are comfortable and fully adjustable but take up a lot of room when stowed away. I don't think I'll be using this bag much in backpack mode. For my initial trip, I removed both the shoulder and waist straps. For future trips, I plan to omit the padded waist strap and simplify the shoulder straps. My modification requires obtaining Osprey's proprietary buckles. I called their parts department and was connected to a helpful and courteous service rep. Buckles are on their way.
I like the fact that the Osprey Ozone Convertible requires the user to pack thoughtfully thereby avoiding checked bag fees and waits at the luggage carousel. I am not affiliated in anyway with Osprey. I purchased my bag from REI. I am looking forward to using the Ozone Convertible on many more trips. The Ozone Convertible 22 is highly recommended.

fromOsprey is Awesome Osprey luggage is amazing. I bought this bag for myself a year ago and love it so bought another one for a present. Another Osprey bag that I bought blew off of a roof carrier on 395, several cars ran over it and the only thing that was damaged was one plastic clip. Since this was it's maiden voyage and it was now covered with tire tracks I was given a brand new one. This speaks loads about its durability and the company's customer service.

fromGreat bags!! The bags are light. Great quality. They rolled through 6 airports, very well and the larger bag stowed in the overhead compartment. We used these 2 bags to travel for 9 days in Italy, with 2 pairs of shoes and enough clothes too last (with only 1 laundry session). The bags traveled well on the bus, rolling down cobblestone streets and the Metro. We also used them in Bali for 9 days and they loaded into taxis well and rolled down the streets of Ubud and made it on and off the fast boats to NUsa Lembogen. They are great bags.
