Comments about Sugoi Firewall 220 Tights - Men's - 2012 Closeout:
Bought these after giving up on spring weather in Chicago. (End of April, still around high-30s in the morning hours...) First pair of cycling tights, as I'm just starting to extend my biking season. Bought two pairs - Medium and Large - as I'm right in the middle (5'10" and 168#). Returned Medium, kept Large. Took them on a 38 mile ride Sunday morning, sunny, 40 degrees and 14mph breeze. Legs warmed up quick and stayed warm, no problems at all.
- Didn't use the tiny little pocket on the back, not sure why it's there. If it's cold enough for the tights, then you need a jacket (with bigger pockets) too.
- Can't evaluate quality, only one ride so far.
- Not padded, so if you need padding these may not be for you.
Would buy them again, especially at the discounted price (plus the 20% off coupon, what a steal!).
