by John from SyracusefromGreat but they run very smallThese run very small. I wear a size 9.5 and bought a size 11 and they are too short. I will probably be returning them for a size 11.5 or 12.
Unless you have narrow feet getting in and out of these will be difficult, at least until they break in. I have put then on and off about 3 times before I could get them on okay. If the loop on the back of the boot ever fails, I might be unable to get the boots on!

by needanamefromVERY COMFORTABLEI purchased these boots at the local REI store. I usually wear a size 7.5 - 8 womens dress shoe or boots. I tried on the MENS size 8 and was instantly in love. I wore the boots for 8 hours continuously the day of purchase - and did NOT suffer any shin splint soreness - which has happened in the past. My foot slid into the boot comfortably. I like the secure feeling of the boot around my ankles. I do not feel as though I am shuffling around in these boots - which is another common problem for me. While these boots would be considered bulky, I would still recommend this footwear to family and friends. I am in love with these boots !

by Jon919fromNice boot - but way too smallGreat looking boot and I liked the weight/feel. However, they run at least a size smaller than normal - if not a size and half. I am a 14 and there's no way I could've fit into their 14 - I needed at least a 15 (but they don't make them that big, so I had to return them and go with something else).
