I had to try on several different pairs to get a pair that were equally matched in fit. I felt the ankle was a bit narrow but liked the look and seemed comfortable. The calf is a bit snug but gave a little with some wear. Over time however, the back of the boot started to dig into my heel. These unfortunately are going to have to go back. I liked them overall but they became uncomfortable fairly quickly. The design clearly needs work.

I could not get the boots on. The calf was too tight. If you have medium or small calves these might fit you. It's very difficult for me to find boots that will pull up over my calves. I was disappoiinted because the tread and flatness of the boot was just what I was looking for. I wish that there was another choice about recommendation. I think that these boots would be great for someone with smaller calves, but there's not a way to qualify recommendations-just straight yes or no.

I can't say enough about how nice these boots look. I bought them for my girlfriend and she was so excited to try them on....
Sadly thats where it ended. She is a shorter girl and a runner. Big old calf muscles. After struggling to pull the boots on (as the previous reviewer mentioned) she couldn't zip them up all the way due to her calf being too large.
Wish TNF would add a wide calf option so I could make my girl happy.
Still giving them 5 stars because they are awesome looking and difficulty to put them on shouldn't take away from the boot (clearly that women isn't a skier).

Love the look, but the first time I tried them on, I almost freaked out because I just. couldn't. get. them. on.
Ok. A few adjustments later, I can pull them on pretty well with far less difficulty, but I worry that the parts I pull on may fall apart. So far, it's all good.
On the upside, these are cozy, comfy, look fantastic, and are ready for cold, rainy winter days. Good stuff overall.
