i have a lucia sweater from 2010-11(?) in teal and love it. these sweaters are not cheap so i was thrilled to find one on sale, and with my dividend! as well-styled as they are though, i wouldn't pay full price. the lucia sweater is a great fit for my body type (short-waisted, slim waist and hips with wide chest). it's not too long, which i love, tapers nicely, a bit fitted at the waist but still enough room across the shoulders. the sweater accentuates my figure, no matter what else i'm wearing and i'm always happy with how i look in it. the buttons are sweet, different, as is the collar, seams, narrow stripes and flared sleeves. the sweater's warm but more of an everyday type of sweater, appropriate for work and around town, not a technical piece or for very cold climates but perfect for the bay area. the collar cinched up means i don't need a neck-scarf and the flared sleeves accomodate gloves or arm-warmers nicely but aren't so wide that too much cold air gets in when i'm riding. i did notice that the 2012 closeout is a bit thinner than my original lucia (and my friend concurred, not just my imagination.) i guess prana might be skimping a bit, as i don't think the old one was too thick or bulky at all. this newer one is still a quality sweater and it would be great if there were some brighter, fun colors next season. highly recommended if you can find it on sale!

This sweater is quite unique and very cute. The only thing is that you need to wear a light layer underneath because the wool can be itchy. Since it is truly a winter sweater though, this isn't really an issue.

First of all, it's wool and it's itchy. You need to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and to dryclean or handwash. The plum looks fabulous in the picture but is a more faded color in reality. Worst of all, it tends to wrinkle.
On the other hand, it's an attractive sweater at a good price. If you're okay with wool . . .

This sweater is fabulous. It is soft (not itchy!), comfortable, gorgeous and has long enough arms. The only complaint I have (not enough to knock out a star though...) is that the sizing is a bit inconsistent. I have two of these sweaters, both in SMALL (I am 5'4'' and 120 lbs) and the green one is absolutely perfect, but the purple one is a little wide in the body of sweater and in the neck. They are definitely not exactly the same size.
Also, for people my size considering this sweater, if you like a more form-fitting sweater, try the EXTRA-SMALL, and if you like a little bit of a looser fit, go for the SMALL. I tried both on at an REI store before buying this sweater online and they both fit very well, but I don't like my sweaters to be very tight, so I went with the SMALL.
