The Therm-a-Rest Ventra down comforter is great for hostel-hopping and road trips. Storage is a snap - when you're not out and about, just throw it on your bed at home
- Insulated with quality 650-fill-power goose down for warmth, light weight and compressibility; durable polyester shell fabric resists moisture and abrasion
- Versatile Ventra down comforter can be used on its own or attached to a Therm-a-Rest sheet and sleeping pad to form a sleep system (sheet and sleeping pad not included)
- Compatible with Therm-a-Rest Fitted Sheet - Medium - 2011 Closeout (sold separately - limited supply)
- Also compatible with Therm-a-Rest Universal sheets made in 2012 and after (not included)

Bought a 3 inch thick thermarest sleeping pad, a thermarest fitted sheet with snaps, and the Ventra down comforter in large. What luxury! Roomy, warm, cozy. Fantastic when we car camped in Utah, Arizona, and Wyoming the first 2 weeks in May. Didn't miss home, it was so wonderful.

I love this thing. It's just comfy and way better than hotel blankets. When its cold I use my mummy bag and this as a pillow. When its warm or cool then I just use this as a blanket.I absolutely love down. I wish it came in purple, royal blue, emerald green, or turquoise.

I purchased this with my dividend and a discount. I couldn't have gotten a better deal. We are a couple- we backpack and car camp and have a difficult time finding a dual lightweight sleep system. Now that we have one comforter, we will have to get one more. I wanted to see how big it was before I bought 2. It is plenty big enough for a big (225+lb)person or possibly 2 small people.
My daughter (teenager)was planning to get in her tent because she was too cold, but I gave her the comforter and she stayed out with us "old" people another hour loving the comforter.
We will take this backpacking soon- looking forward to a lighter load!

Slept out twice in my hammock. Once in the backyard at 21 degrees. Once on a scout campout at 12 degrees. It kept me warm both times. I have it paired with a thermarest trail scout regular and the fitted sheet. I know that it is only rated to 40 degrees, but if you have the proper layers, you gan go much colder.
At 12 degrees, I had thermal bottoms, and a long sleeved shirt. I took my wool socks off in the middle of the night and my feet stayed warm.
The only time I got cold was when I slept on my side and my knees and butt compressed the bag against the side of my hammock.
Sweet system. Good price. I think it is a very nice quality product. I'm looking forward to taking it on my next adventure.
