by Ruth AfromGreat PackGreat pack. It's comfortable and light. I bought the Origin 9, and I'm so happy I did because it has plenty of space. I plan on taking this pack on snowboarding trips.

by GaijinSmashfromAwesome Daypack! This pack is great! I used it for a 8 mile day hike/trail run the other day and it performed beautifully. The pack did not flop around at all when I was running, it stayed close to my body. I went ahead and modified mine so now there is an elastic cord that goes through the loop holes so I can strap gear to the back of the pack. I am able to fill up the water bladder, the entire storage compartment and still fit some thermals in the stretch pocket AND now strap a jacket to the back of the pack. Everything stays in place with no issues at all! This is now my new go-to day pack!

by csinensisfromWaterproof!I went kayaking with this pack. My kayak hit something, I lost balance, the kayak flipped, and I fell in the water with the pack on my back. I was under the water about 5-10 minutes until I got to the shore. I immediately open the pack and inspect the items inside. There was not a single drop of water inside. I had a pack of travel sized kleenex and it was completely dry. The straps feel comfortable and front pocket is handy for storing gloves etc. I also use it for short day-hike. I've packed this with a soft-shell jacket, 3 protein bars, full hydration bladder, camera, sunscreen, insect repellant, fist-aid kit, and trail mix. For the hydration bladder, read the reviews on this website. It is easier to fill, clean, and dry thanks to the wide mouth. Too bad the Platypus is discontinuing this product. I just ordered second pack for my son. Get as many as you can afford!
