Comments about Merrell Geneva Jacket - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

The first thing I noticed was the material felt like high quality (thick, well-woven) and it was very warm for being pretty thin. The jacket length was good for snowboarding but the sleeves were normal jacket sleeve-length, not like other snowboarding jackets that are longer (this is a pro or a con, depending on the person). However, I ended up returning the jacket for two reasons: 1) The only available sizes were XS and something like a L (I'm between a XS/S) so I got the XS but it felt pretty tight around the chest (I wore a fleece jacket underneath it and couldn't squeeze a scarf in there), and 2) the jacket has those armpit zipper vents but they felt really awkward, like I couldn't put my arms down at my sides all the way because the zipper was jabbing up into my armpits.

Overall a well-constructed jacket but the armpits are a little awkward.
